How we work

Four stages, and a report you can argue with.

Most marketing reporting is built so that it cannot be checked. Ours is built the other way round. Here is exactly what happens, in what order, and what you get at the end of each part.

  1. Discovery

We audit what is already there. What you rank for and what you do not, how the Google profile is performing, whether the site turns a visitor into a phone call, and where enquiries currently land once they arrive.

The useful part is usually the last one. Most businesses we look at are losing enquiries somewhere between the search and the phone, and nobody has ever counted them.

You get You get the findings whether or not you go ahead with us.

  2. Strategy

What we would do, in what order, and what each stage should produce. Search before ads, always, because running ads into a site that does not convert is how an agency bills for a year without producing anything.

This is where the proposal and the price come from. There is no standard package and no published tier, because a scaffolding firm in three towns and a valeting round in one are not the same job.

You get A written plan with a price against it.

  3. Build

Site, Google profile, tracking and follow-up. Tracking goes in first, before anything is changed, so there is a genuine before to measure the after against.

Every enquiry route gets tagged at this stage. That is the unglamorous part, and it is the only reason we can tell you later how many people actually rang rather than how many times a page was seen.

You get A site that gets found, and a record of everything that comes through it.

  4. Ongoing

Rankings and content worked every month. Ads on top once search is converting and not before.

Reporting lands on the same day each month whether the news is good or not. It shows real leads by source. A real lead is someone who rang, texted or replied. A contact that never answered is not a lead and we do not count it as one, which is why our numbers are sometimes lower than the ones you have been shown before.

You get One report, same day, real leads only.

When something breaks

Site down at seven on a Friday.

It happens. A form stops sending, a host falls over, a ranking drops overnight. What matters is not that it never happens, it is how long you sit there wondering.

One number, one inbox, and a reply the same day. There is no ticket queue, no portal to log into and nobody to be passed to. You will not be told that it has been escalated.

If we broke it, we fix it and we tell you what happened. If it broke on its own, same thing.

What you own

Said out loud, before you sign it.

Your Google profile

Yours. It always was. We work on it, we never hold it.

Your domain

Yours, in your account, in your name. We will ask for access rather than ownership.

Your leads and your data

Yours, and exportable on request at any point, including the day you leave.

The website

Ours while we host and maintain it, unless the agreement says otherwise. If that is not what you want, say so at the strategy stage and we will price it the other way.

We would rather lose the job at this stage than have the conversation later.

Book a call and we will tell you where the work is going.

Twenty minutes. What your competitors are ranking for, what that traffic is worth, and whether we can shift it. If we cannot help we will say so on the call and tell you who can.

We take on a small number of clients at a time, so not every enquiry gets taken.
